My name is Lloyd, I write custom music for Film and TV here in my studio in South Wales.
Having music written to picture rather than using library audio can make a world of difference to the impact of your visuals.
I do understand that directors put a lot of trust in the composer because we can make or break a film. What I normally suggest is I score a short scene first to make sure we are on the same page with your vision for the film.
Cost I can accomodate most budgets but bare in mind like everyone
I do have bills to pay too. 🙂

About Me
I’ve been involved in the music industry since the mid 90’s. I started as DJ (Drum&bass, Hip Hop) and went on to be a producer before getting involved in the world of TV/film music composing.
I grew up watching horror films in the 1980’s and love that sound, I work with vintage synthesizers and use real instruments like my cello to create original horror scores that ebb and flow with the picture to help tell the story. I can write a variety of styles music but I specialise in 80’s vintage synth music for crime, action, thriller and horror productions.
I have a lot from experience with post production music and can offer advice. I also have experience on filmsets having worked as a BTS photographer and and S.A. for over 6 years.

FAQ
I know I want custom music for my film but not quite sure what exactly?
Don’t worry, generally when I watch a scene I can hear what might work from my years of experience, I can suggest and even try some ideas before hand and get your feedback.
I have a clear vision for the music I want for my picture.
Great we can do a spotting session via zoom and go through exactly what you want and thrash out some ideas
Do you hire professional orchestras?
Currently no,this is done for big budget productions, this can be expensive when you consider , arrangers,orchestration and players costs. I do know professional string instrument session players having played the cello myself in multiple orchestras, however if I need orchestral instruments I use the highest quality samples libraries money can buy.
Do you write any kind of music?
I can write most genre’s of music but have my strengths like any other composer. My music tends to lend itself to certain genres of film or TV show
Is it cheaper just to select stock music online?
Not really and having custom music that ebbs and flows with the visuals in sync makes a world of difference to it’s impact.
How many successful films have you watched that only use off the shelf stock library music? 🙂
